About Tristan
Hey there!
I’m Tristan Moore, an actor, singer, and multi-disciplinary creator working to carve out my space in the industry post-graduation.
Originally from Aurora, Ontario, I found my love for performing early on through local theatre programs and school talent shows. Eager to grow as a performer, I enrolled in the Regional Arts Program at St. Elizabeth Catholic High School, where I trained in drama for four years and received the Triple Threat Award upon graduation. Over the years, I’ve performed in musicals, plays, variety shows, and was the lead vocalist in a band—each experience fueling my passion for storytelling.
With support from my family, teachers, and peers, I pursued that passion further at York University, where I was accepted into the Acting Conservatory program. My time at York was filled with formative experiences, including performing in Love in the Time of Werewolves by David Yee and Dance Nation by Clare Barron as part of the department’s mainstage season.
Since graduating in 2023, I’ve been fortunate to work on projects that push me both creatively and personally. I played Henrietta (a gender-swapped Hortensio) in a feminist reimagining of Taming of the Shrew (Dude), which toured several Brampton parks with Louie the Goat Productions. More recently, I performed in an all-female production of Fahrenheit 451 at Hart House Theatre, a timely and powerful reexamination of a classic story.
As I continue building my career, I’m excited to explore new opportunities—especially in comedy and theatre for young audiences, where I can lean into my love for big, bold characters. Music is also a huge part of my life; I sing and play guitar, piano, and ukulele, and I’m drawn to genres like alternative, folk, indie rock, and musical theatre. I’d love to return to live gigs or jump into a musical theatre production in the near future.
